SignatureHub ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
1. What We Don't Collect
We do not collect your signature data. All signature creation drawing on the canvas, typing text, or processing uploaded images happens entirely within your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. No signature data is transmitted to our servers.
2. What We Do Collect
We collect the following anonymous, non-personal data:
- Analytics data: Page views, country/region (approximate, not city level), browser type, device type, referral source, and anonymous usage events listed below. This data is aggregated and contains no personal information.
- Contact form data: If you fill out our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message content. We use this only to respond to your inquiry.
3. Analytics Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use SignatureHub. GA4 uses cookies and collects the following data:
- Pages visited and time on page
- Country and approximate region (not precise location)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Referral source (what site linked you here)
- Anonymous usage events: which signature tool tabs are used, which templates are selected, when a signature is downloaded or copied, when the contact form is submitted
What GA4 never receives: your signature image, your drawn or typed name, any email signature field values, uploaded file contents or names, or any contact form text.
All ad-related signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are permanently set to denied — we do not run personalised ads.
For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics storage is denied by default and a consent banner is shown. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

4. Cookies & Local Storage
- Theme preference: Stored in

localStorageassh_consent— records whether you accepted or declined analytics. No expiry. - GA4 cookies:
_ga(expires 2 years),_ga_*(expires 2 years) — anonymous identifier used by Google Analytics. Only set after you accept analytics (EEA/UK/CH) or on first visit elsewhere. - Advertising: If Google AdSense ads are shown, Google may set additional cookies. See Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Affiliate Links
This site may contain affiliate links to third-party products (such as DocuSign and PandaDoc). If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These third parties have their own privacy policies.
6. Third-Party Services
- Google Fonts: We load fonts from Google Fonts. Google may log font requests. Google Privacy Policy.
- Web3Forms: Contact form submissions are processed by Web3Forms and forwarded to our email. Web3Forms does not store message content after delivery.
7. Data Retention
Contact form data is retained in email for up to 12 months. GA4 analytics data is retained for 14 months (Google's default). Theme and consent preferences remain in your browser's localStorage until you clear them.
8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

9. Children's Privacy
SignatureHub is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. We'll note the date at the top of this page. Continued use of SignatureHub after changes constitutes acceptance.
